Description
Drive away awning kits are an essential piece of kit for campervan owners. There is one inherent flaw with them – the figure of 8 strips are prone to moving in the slightest wind, opening up gaps that allow water to drip through, or worse leaving the awning partially detached.
The SRB Designs Kador clamps stop this from happening. Supplied as a set of 2, attach a clamp at each end of the drive away kit to restrain the figure of 8 strips and prevent any movement.
The clamps have been designed to make use as easy as possible – they can be slid on without the need to separate the pieces, meaning no fiddling trying to get the 2 halves lined up, to then attempt to get the bolt to engage. The channels have also be accurately sized so that the clamps only need to be finger tight to create the required tension, thus preventing failure due to fatigue from over tightening.
Nuts, bolts and washer are all stainless steel to prevent wet weather corrosion and the nuts are Nyloc to prevent the clamps working loose.
